Inspiration for Youth Advocates
You will love our new look and there is a ton of new cool programs to check out! See you there! ~ Andrea
| Welcome to the 4YA teen program wiki! 4YA is a collaborative and educational database for young adult librarians and youth advocates looking for cool program ideas. Whether you are looking for a hip DIY project, how to set up a successful Rock Band night or the perfect tech program for Teen Tech Week, look no further! You'll find it here! Our goals are to share the latest and greatest (and tried and true) program ideas to bring teens to your organization and to strengthen youth advocacy across the world. So please come join the fun. We are always looking for new readers, writers and cool program ideas! Please use the navigation bar on the left to browse the various program topics. Programs are listed by title under each topic. How 4YA Works: 4YA is a collection of educational articles we call "How2s" that feature step-by-step tutorials on creative program development. How2 articles are written by youth specialists such as librarians, teachers, and youth advocates. Our articles are written to promote great ideas, services, and materials that we believe make great ingredients for fantastic teen programs and activities. Every article can be downloaded as a .pdf and features clickable links to our favorite sites. In addition, all How2 articles can be searched by topic, keyword or author. Our Search box is located at the top of the navigation bar. We also have a tag cloud on our Search Page. Check it out! It's great for browsing! Registered users can also leave comments and participate in our discussion board. Submitting Articles: All youth specialists are welcome to submit articles for 4YA. If the article is accepted we will put it into our special format and will be posted on our site. All writers retain the exclusive rights and responsibilities of their work. For more information please see our Contribute page listed under our Home page. How to Register: 4YA members can add comments and start threads at 4YA. However, unlike traditional wikis, users cannot edit 4YA's wiki entries. If you would like to contribute an article please contact us via our email below. If you would like to register please see our Registration page. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please email us at 4yastaff@live.com |
